Shooting of Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s Race Gurram is in last leg. All except one song is finished and the remaining song will be shot from 15th February on Allu Arjun and Shruti Haasan.It seems director Surendar Reddy is hugely inspired from Sreenu Vaitla’s films.

Release date has been set as April 4th due to exams season and it would be the first big film for summer 2014 (as of now).

Inside sources say that Race Gurram is on the lines of Dookudu and Baadshah. First half of Race Gurram is packed with high voltage action. But second half is going to be a laugh riot. As Sreenu Vaitla does, Surender Reddy has fully utilized Brahmanandam to pull the latter half of Race Gurram.Bhojpuri actor Ravi Kishan is doing the negative role.

Shruti Haasan is paired up with Allu Arjun in Race Gurram. Thaman scored the music. Nallamalupu Bujji is the producer. The film is expected to hit the screens in April.
