Story : 

Lingeswar otherwise known as Lingaa (Rajinikanth) is a little time cheat sitting tight for better settlement in life. To escape from police in a theft case, he moves to his granddad's main residence Singanuru with help of Lakshmi (Anushka), a columnist hailing from same town. Lingaa had awful notion on his granddad until Lakshmi's grandpa (K Vishwanath) depicts his story. 

Lingaa's granddad Lingeswar Maharaja (Rajinikanth once more) was a gatherer in British government former toindian freedom. With a specific end goal to help Singanuru villagers, Lingeswar does everything to construct a Dam. He looses all the property, defies Britishers antagonistic vibe and even confronts clash with villagers as well. At last, he finishes developing the dam yet leaves town with a broken heart. The sanctuary that was shut on Dam's opening day is opened now by more youthful Lingaa. 

Neighborhood MP Naga Bhushanam (Jagapathi Babu) holds hands with corporate organizations to fall the dam for their individual advantages. How Lingaa battles against them is rest.

Performance :

Rajinikanth : He did double part in this film, One character as cheat and an alternate character as Maharaja of Gadwal in 1939. No words to depict Rajinikanth's execution, He is super star and he did the best, round of praise for his vitality levels at this age, however we missed his mark style activity. He suited well in Maharaja of Gadwal character. His execution was in simplicity in real life scenes. He tried his hardest. 

Anushka Shetty : She did as TV columnist, She is Rajini's adoration interest, She got not a lot to offer other than few scenes. Her naming voice didn't suited her, she resembles an adult young lady yet her voice and balance is much the same as new conceived child which is exceptionally unbelievable. Rest is OK. 

Sonakshi Shetty : She has given brilliant execution as town young lady, She will be seen in glimmer back scene. She existed in that character and did sensible execution. Mass Audience will watch her over and over. 

On the off chance that we analyze both Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha, Sonakshi Sinha has provided for her best execution. 

Jagapathi Babu : He got less screen space, however tried his hardest. He did Member of parliament part and he is the lowlife in the peak. 

Rest of the group did as needed.

Technicians :

Cinematography by R. Rathnavelu is remarkable, the areas visuals are really rich and beautiful, Rajinikanth looked adolescent and that credit goes to Cinematographer Rathnavelu, Editing by Samjith could have been something more, Run time of this film is very nearly 3 hours, motion picture would be similar to stallion race if the term is less. Battles by Ravi Kumar were astounding, Train battle was fabulously shot with Phantom Flex 4x, Train battle arrangement is fundamentally the same to Climax battle of English motion picture Abraham Lincoln : Vampire Hunter. Music by AR Rehman is not up to the imprint, the tunes are not persuading on screen, Back Ground is OK. Creation Values are exceptionally rich, CG work is great and characteristic. Screenplay is feeble however heading is OK.

Analysis :

Story of this film is not new on Indian Screens yet motion picture was executed well on screen, Rajinikanth, Sonakshi Sinha and Flashback scenes are greatest quality for this film. Over all motion picture is great yet length of this film will test your persistence, AR Rehman's music, Anushka Shetty and Climax are few disadvantages of this film. In general watch this film just for Rajinikanth.
